FIND YOUR FIT
Every Sarah’s Nail Secrets set includes 12 handcrafted acrylic nails. Choose a Preset Fit or have your set Custom Fit using your individual sizing.
PRESET FIT
Choose Small, Medium or Large using the Sarah’s Nail Secrets preset sizing chart below.
Each preset includes 10 core nails plus two additional fit-flex nails for more sizing flexibility.
Compare your natural-nail measurements with the chart and select the closest match. If your measurements do not closely match one preset or your two hands differ, choose Custom Fit instead.
HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF
Measure the widest part of each natural nail from sidewall to sidewall in millimetres. Place tape across your nail, mark both sidewalls with a pen at the largest point, remove the tape and measure between the marks.
Measure all 10 nails, as the same finger may be a different size on each hand.
Compare each measurement with my chart. Tip numbers can vary between brands and shapes, so always use the millimetre measurements listed here.
BETWEEN SIZES?
Choose the larger size. A slightly larger press-on can be gently filed along the sidewalls for a more precise fit. A nail that is too small will feel uncomfortable and cannot be made larger. Always use a nail file and never clippers when adjusting your press-ons
CUSTOM FIT
Custom Fit sets include 10 nails created using your supplied sizing plus two spare nails of your choice.
You can provide either:
• The width of all 10 natural nails in millimetres
or
• The nail numbers from your Sarah’s Nail Secrets sizing kit
You do not need to convert your measurements into tip numbers. Simply provide your millimetres or sizing kit numbers, and I’ll select the correct tips for your chosen nail shape.
USING YOUR MEASUREMENTS
Measure all 10 natural nails individually in millimetres, beginning with the thumb and ending with the pinky on each hand.
Enter your measurements in this order:
Left hand: thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky
Right hand: thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky
Even if your hands appear identical, measuring every nail will provide the most accurate information.
USING A SIZING KIT
A sizing kit allows you to try the actual nail tips against your natural nails before ordering and is the most accurate sizing method.
Find the best fitting tip for every nail, record all 10 numbers and enter them when placing your Custom Fit order. No measuring or conversion is required.
YOUR TWO ADDITIONAL NAILS
Preset Fit sets automatically include two fit-flex nails determined by the selected preset size.
With Custom Fit, choose which two finished nails you would like duplicated as spares. For example, you may request a spare left index nail and right thumb nail.
