Everything you need to know about sizing, application, wear, removal, reuse, shipping, and one-of-a-kind acrylic sets.
What is a ready to ship studio drop?
Studio Drops are one of a kind acrylic press-on sets that are already completed and sold exactly as pictured in a preset size. The nails shown in the listing are the exact nails you will receive. Once a set sells, it is gone.
Can the set be resized or changed?
Ready to ship sets are already finished and cannot be resized, recolored or customized.
What are Made to order sets?
Made to order sets are created after you purchase. Choose your design, length, shape and sizing option from the Made to Order listing.
The design shown will be recreated for you, but the placement of marble, flakes, glitter and other handcrafted details may vary slightly. No two sets will be exactly alike.
How many nails are included?
Every Sarah’s Nail Secrets set includes 12 handcrafted acrylic nails.
Preset Fit sets include 10 core nails plus two additional fit-flex nails.
Custom Fit sets include 10 nails created using your supplied sizing plus two spare nails of
What's the difference between the preset fit and custom fit?
Preset Fit allows you to select Small, Medium or Large using the Sarah’s Nail Secrets preset sizing chart. Each preset contains 12 nails to provide additional fitting flexibility.
Custom Fit is created using the measurements or sizing-kit numbers you provide for all 10 nails. You’ll also choose which two nails you would like duplicated as spares.
You do not need to convert your measurements into tip numbers. Simply provide your information and I’ll select the correct tips for your chosen shape.
Do I need a sizing kit?
A sizing kit provides the most accurate fit and is strongly recommended, especially for your first Custom Fit order.
If you already know the width of all 10 natural nails in millimetres, you may submit those measurements instead. I’ll complete the necessary tip conversion for you.
If you purchase a sizing kit with your nail set, the kit will be shipped first. Your nail set will be created once your sizing is confirmed.
Sizing kits are not required for ready to-ship sets.
Do you accept custom orders?
Custom work is not regularly listed through the website. Limited custom press-on work may occasionally be available by request Message me on Instagram at @sarahsnailsecrets with your idea to discuss availability and pricing.
How long will my made to order set take?
Please allow 5-10 business days for your set to be created before shipping. This timeframe begins once all sizing information has been confirmed.
If a sizing kit is required, the sizing kit will be shipped first and production will begin after you submit your confirmed sizes.
What if I Submit the wrong size?
Please doublecheck all measurements and sizing kit numbers before submitting your order. Your set will be created using the information you provide.
Sets created from incorrectly submitted sizing cannot be returned or replaced because of fit. If you believe your set was made differently from the sizing information submitted, please contact me
What makes these press-on nails different?
These are not mass produced, and they are not simply gel painted tips. Each nail is individually built and designed using professional quality acrylic, with colored acrylic designs, nail art layered, and encapsulated inside. Every nail is then finished filed and refined by hand. Working with acrylic takes longer, but creates a strong, durable set designed for longer wear and repeat use.
Are the nails reusable?
Yes! With proper care, the nails can be worn multiple times. The number of wears will vary depending on how long they’re worn each time, how they’re removed, how the glue is cleaned off, and overall care.
How long do they last?
with nail glue they can last 1-2 weeks, while adhesive tabs are for short term wear.
(Wear time depends on preparation, fit, adhesive, and lifestyle.)
What should I do if I am between sizes?
Choose the larger size. A nail that is too small will feel uncomfortable tight, and pop off. you can always gently file a larger nail to fit. Don't clip the nails as they are acrylic and will get damaged
What comes with each set?
Each set includes the acrylic nails in your listing (12 nails)
Prep kit: nail glue, a file and mini buffer, 2 wooden cuticle sticks, alcohol wipes, tabs, a dust brush and application and care instructions. restrictions may apply if international
How do I apply them?
Prepare the natural nails by gently pushing back the cuticles, removing surface shine, dusting any dust off and then cleaning each nail with alcohol pads. Apply glue to the back of the press-on, place it down, and hold firmly for 30–60 seconds. You don't need to press hard. Test that the nail fits comfortably on your bare nail before using glue.
How do I remove them safely?
Soak the nails in warm soapy water with oil for 10–15 minutes. Gently lift them as the glue loosens from the sides using your orange wood stick. Never pull or force them off. clean off the residue and store for later use!
Can I use adhesive tabs instead of glue?
Yes. Adhesive tabs are useful for short term wear I include some with your order
Will you be adding more shapes and lengths?
Yes! I’m always testing new tips behind the scenes. I only offer shapes and lengths that I’m genuinely happy with, so I’d rather launch fewer options that I completely trust than rush to offer everything. As I find new favourites, I’ll continue expanding the collection.

How quickly will my order ship?
Ready to ship sets are dispatched within 1–3 business days.
Made to order are made in 5-10 business days and shipped 1-3 days after
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes! If you’re local to Victoria, BC I'll contact you after ordering to arrange pickup. also local in person sizing available. DM me to discuss times
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact me within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging so I can help resolve the issue.
Are press-on nails final sale?
Yes. Due to the handmade nature of the product, all press on nail sets are final sale. Please review the sizing, shape, length, photos, and measurements carefully before purchasing.
